Hiking Path along the Costa Adeje to La Caleta
A coastal hiking path goes from El Puertito to La Caleta. You'll pass through a protected natural area and encounter two "wild" beaches on the way. These beaches are not reachable by car, only on foot if you're willing to do some climbing. Wear sturdy shoes to conquer the sometimes steep hiking path.
The first beach is Playa Diego Hernandez, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Tenerife. It's about 80 meters long and has a white powdery sand. It offers tranquility and a relaxed atmosphere, attracting nudists as well.
The next beach along the hiking path from El Puertito to La Caleta is Playa de los Morteros. It's not a sandy beach but a rocky cove where you can jump into the azure waters from different points. You'll also find an easily accessible ancient cave dwelling that you can visit.
